If you haven’t visited our site in awhile, you may notice there have been some exciting changes!
New Site-wide Security
If you had our old site bookmarked, or are a frequent user, you may need to delete your old site bookmark and even clear your browser and computer cache (instructions on how to do that just in case). The reason for that is we have a brand new SSL Certificate that secures your entire experience on ReferenceRecordings.com, and sometimes your browser will still be trying to look for the old site’s security certificate information.
New Menu System
We have a new menu system that should make exploring the RR catalogs easier both for computers and mobile/tablet users. Just look for the three bars and the word “MENU” in the upper right hand corner and a menu should slide out to give you ways to explore the RR catalog, the FRESH! From RR catalog, RR artists, composers, genres, and all of the recordings available in our different formats.
New Home For The Blog
If you’re an RR Blog reader, follower, or subscriber, we have a new URL for you. Rather than our old Blogspot address, you can now visit the blog right here on the main RR website! If you’re a subscriber to our feeds, don’t worry as we’ve updated those and you should continue getting the blogs in your inbox, and for those who may have bookmarked some of your favorites, your old links should lead you to those posts on our new site.
New Downloads from RR!
One of the most exciting aspects of our new site is the ability to deliver WAV, FLAC, and Apple Lossless downloads to you in 44.1kHz/16bit, 88.2kHz/24bit, 96kHz/24bit, 176.4kHz/24bit, 192kHz/24bit resolutions! We’re still in the process of getting all of our available releases up, but you can explore the titles we available already by visiting our Downloads page!
New Account Systems
When you are making your purchases at RR, you will now have the option to create an account. Your account access will enable you to log in to the site to view past orders, and access your digital download purchases. Your accounts will also give you access to our upcoming RSVP Club that we hope to announce fairly soon… Currently, accounts are created during the checkout process.
Audiophile Corner
We are also excited to announce a new “Audiophile Corner” on the site where we will begin bringing you behind the scenes and into the recording processes and philosophies of RR. Currently you can view some of our past looks into recording sessions, but we hope to be bringing you much more audiophile-centered content here in the future.
