Our musical concerts only partially define us – the Colorado Symphony offers many events and activities for people of all ages. The Colorado Symphony is a vibrant and vital part of the Denver community. From education concerts (kids in grades 3-12) and performances by noted musicians, to unique donor and sponsor opportunities and behind-the-scenes activities, the Colorado Symphony always offers innumerable things to do and see. Whenever you want music, friends and fun special events, remember the Colorado Symphony delivers enjoyment throughout the year.

Founded in 1984 by Duain Wolfe at the request of Gaetano Delogu, then the Music Director of the Symphony, the chorus has grown, over the past three decades, into a nationally respected ensemble. This outstanding chorus of 180 volunteers joins the Colorado Symphony for numerous performances (more than 25 this year alone), and radio and television broadcasts, to repeat critical acclaim.

Colorado Symphony and Chorus Reviews:

“The performance by the Colorado Symphony and Chorus conducted by Scott O’Neil is a fine one, and the HDCD recording is beyond criticism. … The CD as a whole is a worthwhile listen…just evocative music well-played and well-recorded. All in all, 44 minutes well spent.” —Mel Martin, Audiophile Audition

“The Colorado Symphony Orchestra and Chorus pour their hearts into this music, and the sonic quality is naturally as clear and crisp as mountain air. The six variations for violin and piano share the same theme as the symphony, and are lovingly rendered by Hwang-Williams and the composer.” —Brian Wigman, Classical Net
