Smith, a heroic tenor, does wonders with his voice from every point of view, either forceful or brilliant.” Ha’aretz.
Hugh Smith has sung with the Chicago, San Francisco, Houston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Miami, and San Diego Operas as well as with the opera houses of Paris, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Geneva, Tokyo, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Bologna and Lyon. … Manager Website
Hugh Smith Reviews:
“All [the participants] are touching and intensely involved in projecting the pain and healing inherent in such a work …Danielpour [is] tender and tasteful, and you can’t knock that as a way to memorialize the sufferings of last year.” —Stephanie von Buchau, San Francisco Examiner
