Do you remember your first phonograph? RR Founder Tam Henderson does:
“Mother said as a child when I first saw it, I burst into tears, saying, ‘It can’t be for me.’ Later, my maternal grandparents went to dances at (as I recall it) a large ballroom with a jukebox at one end. They said I was no trouble, all they had to do was put a chair in front of the jukebox and I would stand there, bouncing to the music (I recall big 15″ bass!), punching in my favorite tunes. In those days, songs stayed on the chart for a long time — Tommy Dorsey’s Boogie Woogie for years.”
