HiFi+ Magazine critic Jason Kennedy says Doug MacLeod’s Exactly Like This release is off their scales:
“Once in a blue moon a recording comes along that warrants a rating for sound quality above nearly all the rest, and more often than not Reference Recordings releases fall into this category. I can’t give this album 12 for recording quality, but that’s what it warrants; it makes your system sound as though it costs at least twice the price you paid.
