Time Marches On – Post RMAF 2009

Posted by Reference Recordings on
 October 5, 2009

Time marches on. Sadly, we’ve learned of the passing of two of high-end audios most colorful founding fathers and mothers. So at the Rocky Mountain Audio Festival 2009, we gathered with a large group to toast (with martini’s, his favorite cocktail) the founder of Stereophile Magazine, the late J. Gordon Holt. And we also raised our glasses to one of our most controversial and entertaining writers, the late Enid Lumley who passed several years ago. Years before anyone, Enid wrote about the influence of AC power quality in music systems. Something we all know to be true, but back then was like saying an audiophile would someday use a computer to play music!
